No Storm stops us!
Wow, what a rainy day.
The children had so much fun to play in the rest and play area today.
They did art and crafts, they read some books, and we even had some Firefighters in the house.
Some really brave kids even played outside, and our beautiful garden just loved the rain.

Kids Yoga-First Try
Yoga for children?
I found that Kids Yoga helps to develop better body awareness, self-control, flexibility and coordination.
Children crave movement and sensory/motor stimulus. Yoga helps channel these impulses in a positive way. We used partner poses to develop trust. Working with each other on poses, the children develop team skills. It also fosters bonding.
We had so much fun together, and I look forward to many more Yoga posses to discover.

Busy in the Bike Yard!
It has been such a treat to not only have the playground, but also the space in the parking lot for the bike yard. The children LOVE riding bikes, and it has been fun watching them learn how to pedal, steer, and move their little legs on the bikes! We enjoyed the bike yard last week and even set up a pretend gas station- it was a big hit! The children waited patiently in a LONG line at our gas station- it made me think of how crazy our gas stations can get, however your sweet children all had smiles on their faces (unlike many impatient drivers at gas stations these days). I am grateful for their contagious smiles and positive outlook on life :)
